Movement Strategies visited Birmingham City Centre and its sporting venues throughout the Games to see how the crowds were moving and to experience the buzz first hand.
And that’s a wrap! Well done to all those involved in delivering a phenomenal eleven days of sport and thank you to the West Midlands for delivering sunshine (almost) the whole time.
The Movement Strategies team has been up and down to Birmingham over the last three years in the run up to the Commonwealth Games 2022 and seen the tremendous effort that has gone into ensuring all elements of the Games provide a world-class experience for participants, spectators and residents.
To round off this period of hard work, members of our team visited Birmingham City Centre and its sporting venues throughout the Games to see how the crowds are moving and to experience the buzz first hand. As always, seeing the effective crowd management strategies in action reinforces how crucial this is to underpinning a fantastic visitor experience.
