Dr Aoife Hunt has been appointed as an honorary Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of her services to the COVID-19 response.
We are delighted to announce that Dr Aoife Hunt, our Market Leader, has been appointed as an honorary Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of her services to the COVID-19 response.
During the pandemic, Aoife led research initiatives and guidance developments which supported government policy as well as clients across multiple sectors including healthcare, sports and events, construction, and retail.
Aoife comments, “I am humbled and deeply grateful to accept this MBE. The honour is not mine alone, but also belongs to the exceptional team of dedicated professionals at Movement Strategies, and a team of talented researchers at universities across the UK, with whom I had the privilege to work. Together, we were able to provide insights and impactful solutions during the pandemic, ensuring our communities were better served in their time of need. This award is a testament to the power of collaboration to effect meaningful change, and I look forward to continuing our efforts to make a positive difference."
