We have been appointed to develop a vertical circulation strategy for the peak construction phases for 22 Bishopsgate, London’s latest skyscraper.
The building is a 62-storey tower, now under construction in the heart of the City of London’s cluster of tall buildings is due for completion in 2019.
A complex system of lifts and hoists are being used to move the fit-out teams between floors and it was crucial that the available capacity meets the peak arrival and departure schedule. We developed a vertical circulation model to optimise the vertical circulation strategy and the queuing system design for each of the lift cores.
Multiplex have showcased our innovative modelling work at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) conference held in Dubai on 20-25 October 2018.
